The client’s request was to create a carport next to his existing home. We developed the project to create a flat carport roof which extends from the front façade. This approach gives the basic elementary volume a certain relief while allowing the resident to return to his home safe from the elements. The louvre created on the large window above the front door provides privacy for the inhabitants.
